5.1-magnitude earthquake hits Iran's Lorestan province

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit Firoozabad region in Iran's Lorestan province on Wednesday, according to Iran's Seismological Center, Xinhua reports.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at the depth of 7 km, 33.753 degrees north latitude and 48.080 degrees east longitude.

Sharif Khosravi, the governor of Selseleh town in Firoozabad region, told official IRNA news agency that there has been no report of casualties over the quake.

The earthquake has caused cracks and slight damage to the buildings, said Khosravi. Enditem
