Russia not to call a UN Security Council meeting on Libya

The aide to the Russian president, Sergey Prikhodko, stated that Dmitry Medvedev will not approve a Libyan request to call an extra meeting of the UN Security Council,  Interfax reports.

On Tuesday, Libya sent an official request to Moscow to call an extra Security Council meeting to discuss the aggressive actions of NATO against the country.
