Police search for militants in Dagestan

The police of Dagestan have renewed searches for militants who attacked police officers in Tsumadin District on Wednesday night, a spokesman for the National Counter-Terrorism Committee told RIA Novosti.

The police discovered a militant group in a forest near the village of Kvanada in Tsumadin District. Gunfire was opened. Two police officers died and three were injured. There is no information on militant injuries. A counter-terrorism regime was imposed.
