Armenian Central Bank expects reduction in inflation

Inflation in Armenia at the end of 2011 could be two times lower than at the beginning of the year, the chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Artur Javadyan said on Thursday after meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, ARKA reports.
According to official statistics, inflation in Armenia was 10.6% in January 2011 compared with January 2010.
Javadyan noted that, as predicted by experts and specialists of the Central Bank, in April this indicator of inflation will be 10% less compared to April 2010.
