Iran allocates $20 billion for investment

Iran's Deputy Minister of Industry and Mines for legal and provincial affairs, Iraj Nadimi, at the presentation ceremony of the new director of industry and mining of Golestan province, said that investment in the current year, including investment in industry allocated from the National Development Fund, amounted to 200 trillion rials (roughly $20 billion), Iran News reports.

Iraj Nadimi added that this amount could be increased.

The deputy minister also said that they are currently preparing a new project to attract investment in various industries
