Turkish citizen detained for sale of counterfeit bills in Georgia

A Turkish citizen has been detained for the sale of counterfeit bills, says the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

The detainee sold 21 counterfeit $100 bills in Tbilisi. Law enforcers seized $2,100 in counterfeit bills, Agenda.ge reported.

The crime is punishable by seven to 10 years imprisonment.
