Abkhaz delegation arrives in Chechnya

An Abkhaz delegation has arrived in Chechnya on a 2-day visit, headed by Premier Sergei Shamba. The delegation was comprised of deputy Foreign Minister Daur Kove, chairman of Vainahskii Charity Fund "Daimohk" Ruslan Tuntaev and representatives of the Abkhaz media, reports yuga.ru
The main aim of the visit is participation in celebrations of the 65th anniversary of Victory Day. The delegation was met at the Chechen border by Chechen parliamentarians, headed by speaker Dukuvaha Abdurahmanov. "Relations between the Chechen republic and Abkhazia go back in the past, and this visit continues the tradition of close relations between the republics", the head of the Chechen Parliament noted.

The members of delegation visited points of interest in Grozny. "Primarily, the delegation visited the Central Mosque named after President Akhmat-Hadzhi Kadirov. Then they visited Grozny airport, where an international terminal was recently opened", reports the Chechen president's press service.

Meetings with the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadirov, members of Council of Parliament and head of the government Odes Beisultanov are also on the agenda
