SSJ-100 Armavia makes first scheduled flight

The national airline of Armenia, Armavia has operated the first new regular flight connecting Yerevan and Venice on the new Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft, News Armenia reports.

Armavia received the Sukhoi Superjet 100 on April 19, and its operation on regular flights began on April 20 with a flight Yerevan-Moscow-Yerevan. Since then, the SSJ-100 has carried out 24 flights on the following routes: Yerevan - Athens - Yerevan, Yerevan - Donetsk - Yerevan, Yerevan - Aleppo - Yerevan, Yerevan - Tehran - Yerevan, Yerevan - Tel Aviv - Yerevan and Yerevan- Simferopol - Yerevan.
