Blast at Moscow police station

A home-made bomb went off in the parking lot of a police station in the center of Moscow on Tuesday, one police officer was injured, a police source told RIA Novosti.

The incident happened near the Zamoskvorechye police station on Pyatnitskaya Str. A police warrant officer found a plastic bag with a bomb, which exploded. The officer received leg and eye injuries. The bomb was equivalent to about 50 grams of TNT. A metal can, wires and a mobile phone were taken for studies from the spot.
