Azerbaijan loses Nations League match

Today, the matches of the 1st round of the UEFA Nations League are taking place. The meeting between the national teams of Azerbaijan and Luxembourg has just ended at the Olympic Stadium in Baku. The guests won with a score 2: 1.

Goals for Luxembourg were scored by Leandro Barreiro (48th minute) and Gerson Rodrigues (72nd minute, from the penalty spot). Ramil Sheydayev scored the only goal in the Azerbaijani team in the 43rd minute.

In the 25th minute, the Azerbaijani team lost striker Mahir Emreli, who was sent off the field.
