Industry and tourism to reduce unemployment in Chechnya

Chechnya plans to develop industry and tourism to increase the number of jobs and reduce unemployment, Parliamentary Chairman Dukuvakhi Abdurakhmanov said, RIA Novosti reports.

Abdurakhmanov noted at a briefing in Stavropol that the natural features of Chechnya are better than in Switzerland or India. The Bragunskaya, Gudermesskaya and Sernovodskaya mineral waters were the top five in the USSR.

The official said that the Chechen authorities have been improving living standards after the war.
