Azerbaijan expands cooperation with ADB

An Azerbaijani delegation, supervised by Samir Sharifov, Finances Minister and member of the Board of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), will take part in the 44th session of the bank’s Board, which will talk on prospects of expanding cooperation between the bank and Azerbaijan, Trend reports.

President of the ADB Haruhiko Kuroda expressed satisfaction with the current state of cooperation between the bank and Azerbaijan. He added that the ADB is ready to contribute to diversification of Azerbaijani economy.

The ADB was established in 1966. Azerbaijan joined it in 1999.
