Foreign investment in Kuban economy increasing

The volume of foreign investment in Krasnodar Territory in the first quarter of this year increased 11.4% compared to the same period in 2010, amounting to $105 million, RIA Novosti reports, quoting the press service of the regional Department of Investments.

"The largest amount of foreign investment is aimed at developing transport, communications, manufacturing and real estate transactions,” the press service of the department informs.

In the first quarter of 2011 the economy of Krasnodar Territory attracted investment from 22 countries.
