Free taxis for veterans in Nalchik

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War in Nalchik may use taxis for free on the Day of Great Victory today, the press-service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of Kabardino-Balkaria said.

Free taxis were organized by the Center for Social Service of Nalchik and taxi companies Grand and Alania. Svetlana Guyeva, head of the press-service of one of the companies, said that the actions were to demonstrate respect for veterans.

Kabardino-Balkaria has 948 disabled soldiers from the Great Patriotic War, 2288 widows of soldiers from the war and over 10,400 war workers.
