Biden urges Trump to directly engage Ilham Aliyev and Pashinyan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaU.S. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden urged U.S. President Donald Trump to directly engage President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to de-escalate the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The politician noted that it is long past time for U.S. President Donald Trump to push for immediate de-escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"The United States should be leading a diplomatic effort to end the fighting, together with our European partners, and push for international humanitarian assistance to end the suffering," he stressed.
Biden promised that under his administration that is exactly what they will do.
The Armenian armed forces committed a large-scale provocation, subjecting the positions of the Azerbaijani army to intensive shelling from large-caliber weapons, mortars, and artillery installations of various calibers in the front-line zone on Sept. 27 at 05:00 (Msk).
