Police officers die in militant attack in Dagestan's Izberbash

A shootout took place between police and militants in the Dagestani town of Izberbash. Two police officers died and one was injured, a senior PR assistant of the investigation department of Dagestan Alkhas Amirkhanov said.

Unidentified assailants opened fire at police officers from a house. Counter-fire was opened. Explosives were found in the militants' house, RIA Novosti reports.
