Iran and Tajikistan discuss cooperation

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Shaiboni has met Tajik President Emomalii Rahmon in Dushanbe.

An advisor on economic affairs of the Iranian ambassador to Tajikistan, Abbos Bayoni, said that Shayboni handed a message from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Rahmon, Trend reports.

The message notes development of ties between the two states in the economy, transport and energy. Ahmadinejad also expressed his views on regional and peace problems.

Shayboni had meetings with the Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister, Mahmoud Sobirov.

Shayboni supervises the foreign policy of Iran for developing ties with states of the Middle East and the CIS.
