First video footage of liberated Shusha revealed (VIDEO)

The video footage of the liberated from Armenian occupation Shusha city have been distributed today by the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

The video reveals that the city is completely free from occupants. At the same time, there is no significant destruction in Shusha, which proves that the Azerbaijani army took the city without using heavy artillery, by special forces, in order to preserve Shusha's historical heritage.

One of the most important parts of the video shows the Govhar Agha Mosquee, Shusha's large cathedral mosque ordered by Ibrahim Khalil Khan's daughter in 1865, the symbol of the city.

Today, on Azerbaijan's National Flag Day, this video testifies to the whole world that Shusha has been liberated and the Azerbaijani flag flies over it again. It took 28.5 years of the peace process, which was eventually brought to a standstill by Yerevan, and 43 days of hostilities to return Azerbaijan its heart.
