An attempt has been made to derail a freight train in Dagestan

An explosion occurred on a freight rail line, there are no casualties or
injured persons, a representative of the directorate of the Interior
Ministry on transport in Makhachkala told RIA Novosti.
“The incident happened at 23.05 near Kaspiysk. According to initial
data the train was comprised of an electric locomotive and four
wagons”, he said.
At the moment a task group is investigating the scene, and a
maintenance crew is working there.
