Chechnya to observe the Day of Recollection and Sorrow

On May 10th, residents of the Chechen Republic are observing the Day of Recollection and Sorrow devoted to Chechen people who died  during conflicts and persecutions, Yuga.ru reports.

For some time the Day of Recollection and Sorrow  was observed on February 23d, the day of deportation of the Chechen people during Stalin's rule. Now its is observed on May 10th, the day when Chechen President Akhmad Kadyrov was assassinated.
