Iranian army deploys additional forces in northwestern border regions

The Iranian authorities deployed additional military forces in the northwestern border regions of the country, the Deputy Commander of the Iranian army, Brigadier General Nozar Nemati, informed.

"Since the safety and peace of the Iranian people in the border towns are of great importance to us, we deployed forces in the northwestern border regions to monitor all points of exit and entry into the country," Mehr news agency quotes him as saying.
