WHO announces another Covid-19 anti-record 

A record number of Covid-19 cases were registered globally in the past 24 hours  - more than 657,000. The total number of cases exceeded 53.16 mln, The World Health Organization informs.

The number of deaths globally has increased by almost 9, 800 and is currently more than 1.3 mln, TASS reports.

The previous anti-record was set yesterday - 641,762 cases in 24 hours.

Recall that WHO statistics include only officially confirmed data on Covid-19 cases and deaths provided by countries.
