Derbent Museum-Reserve changes its name

The Derbent Museum-Reserve changed its name, the corresponding resolution was adopted by the government of Dagestan.

The press service of the museum informed that the decision to change the name was caused by the archaeological discovery.

According to the decree, "Derbent State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve" will henceforth bear the name "Derbent State Historical-Architectural and Archaeological Museum-Reserve," RIA Dagestan reports.
