The militants that were killed recently in the Kizlyarsky Disrict of Dagestan could have been planing a terrorist attack on the eve of Victory Day celebrations, Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Rashid Nurgaliyev told journalists in Makhachkala, RIA Novosti reports.

"It's possible that the militants were planing to commit an act of terror on the eve of Victory Day. Eventually they were found and killed. There were no incidents during the celebrations," said Nurgaliyev.
