Resident of the Charektar village in the Kelbajar region of Azerbaijan showed on camera how he sets fire to his own house before voluntarily leaving the territories, which were just returned to Azerbaijan.

"35-year-old Arsen, a resident of the village of Charektar in the Kelbajar region, a father of four children, set fire to his house in front, while Reuters reporters were filming, stating that he was leaving the village without leaving anything to the Azerbaijanis," commentary to the video says.

On November 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint statement on the complete cessation of hostilities in Karabakh. According to the agreement, the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides remain in their positions, while Russian peacekeepers will be deployed in the region. The Aghdam, Lachin and Kelbajar regions are also to be returned to Azerbaijan. It was originally planned that the Kelbajar region should be returned by November 15, but later Yerevan asked Baku for a delay. Azerbaijan agreed to this request.
