Iran welcomes the formation of joint regional security system, Trend cites Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast as saying on Tuesday.

The statement was made after the Iraqi authorities offered the establishment of joint regional security system aiming to confront foreign interference.
