Russian PM discusses establishment of All-Russian People’s Front in Sochi

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has held an informal meeting with staff of the All-Russian People’s Front and authorities of the United Russia Party, RIA Novosti reports.


Putin arrived in Sochi after visiting Samara and Tolyatti, his press-secretary Dmitry Peskov said.


Speaker of the State Duma and Chairman of the Supreme Council of United Russia Boris Gryzlov, deputy head of the Kremlin administration Vladislav Surkov, head of the the government office Vyacheslav Volodin, deputy chairman of Russian State Duma and deputy head of the United Russia Andrey Isayev, MP and head of the central executive committee of the United Russia Andrey Vorobyov, MP Mikhail Babich, acting Secretary of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the United Russia Sergey Neverov, Deputy Chairman of the Federal Council Svetlana Orlova, Chairman of the Russian Women’s Union Yekaterina Lakhova, President of the Association of Farmers and Agriculture Cooperatives of Russia Vladimir Plotnikov, leader of the Young Guards of the United Russia Timur Prokopenko, head of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia Mikhail Shmakov and head of the Russian Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen Alexander Shokhin were at the meeting.


The sides exchanged views on establishment of the Front and other topical issues, including preparations for parliamentary polls.


Staff of the All-Russian People’s Front will have a meeting in Sochi on May 12. Besides Gryzlov, Morozov, Orlova, Isayev and Vorobyov, the meeting will be attended by heads of solidary public organizations.


Deputy head of the Kremlin administration Vladislav Surkov and deputy head of the Presidential Administration Vladislav Surkov are expected to participate in the meeting.
