Ex-minister detained in Armenia

Ex-head of the Ministry of Environment Protection Vardan Ayvazyan was detained in Armenia, his lawyer Mihran Poghosyan informed.

He specified that the politician has not yet been charged, News.am reports.

According to the lawyer, Ayvazyan is suspected of organizing protests on the night of November 9-10, when a trilateral statement on Karabakh was signed.

Earlier today it was reported that the National Security Service of Armenia searched the ex-minister's apartment.
