Number of COVID-19 cases in Armenia exceeds 150,000

Coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 1,098 in the past 24 hours to 150,218, the republic’s Health Ministry reported.

"In the past twenty-four hours, 1,098 new coronavirus cases were identified. In total, 128,694 patients recovered," the ministry said in a statement.

Twenty-seven more coronavirus patients died in hospitals in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of fatalities in the republic to 2,556 over the entire pandemic period, the statement says. 

To reveal the COVID-19 cases, 554,909 tests have been carried out in Armenia.
