Armenia confirms almost 1,200 new COVID-19 cases

Coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 1,174 in the past 24 hours to 151,392, the republic’s Health Ministry reported.

"In the past twenty-four hours, 1,174 new coronavirus cases were identified. In total, 129,990 patients recovered. There are currently 18,179 active coronavirus cases in Armenia," the ministry said in a statement.

Thirty more coronavirus patients died in hospitals in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of fatalities in the republic to 3,198 over the entire pandemic period, the statement says. 

To reveal the COVID-19 cases, 558,446 tests have been carried out in Armenia.
