Moscow hosts meeting of Consultative Council of Heads of Missions Northern Caucasus

An enlarged meeting of the Consultative Council of Heads of Missions in the North Caucasus Federal District and the Stavropol Territory took place in the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian president.

The meeting was attended, among others, by the Chairman of the Council, representative of North Ossetia-Alania Alexander Totoonov, the adviser to the Russian President on Interior Affairs, Alexei Kaimanov, and the head of Information and Public Relations of Moscow Police, Viktor Biryukov.

The participants at the meeting exchanged views on issues of cooperation between permanent missions and national communities. Much attention was paid to issues of monitoring social networking sites to prevent possible provocations.

Heads of permanent missions and the republics of North Caucasus Federal District and of the Stavropol Territory decided to introduce the practice of collaborative missions and national groups to cross-participate in the sessions of the CST, as well as a community council of the leaders.
