3.7-point earthquake hits Chechnya-Dagestan border

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 was recorded on the border of Dagestan and Chechnya, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Dagestan reports.

The head of the seismic station of the Russian Academy of Sciences transmitted a signal that at 12:49 Moscow time on the border of the Tsumadinsky region of Dagestan and Chechnya, a seismic event with a magnitude of 3.7 points occurred at a depth of 57 km, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the dispatchers, there were no tremors on the surface.
