Adygeya to increase extraction of fresh water and natural gas

Adygeya increased extraction of sand and gravel materials and gypsum. Now it will concentrate on developing extraction of natural gas and fresh water, Yuga.ru reports.

Head of the administration for subsoil of Adygeya Lenina Korinevich said that water in Adygeya is unique, especially in the Shovgenovsky, Koshekhablsky, Krasnogvardeysky and Maikop Districts.

Maikopskaya water is extracted at the Khanskaya area, only 5% of the springs is used.

The gas refinery of the Yuzhgazenerdzhi is under construction at the Koshekhablsky District. Agriculture and industrial facilities will use it.

Adygeya concluded exploration for resources in 3 fields. The republic has great potential for production of construction materials using local resources, head of Adygeya Aslan Tkhakushinov said.
