Hostages captured by former police officer released in Georgia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGeorgian law enforcement officers carried out a special operation in the city of Kaspi, as a result of which two hostages were released, the Deputy Interior Minister Vladimir Bortsvadze informed.
According to the Rustavi 2 TV company, a former police officer took his business partners hostage.
Bortsvadze stressed that the hostages were released after several hours of negotiations, and the accused is currently detained. According to the deputy minister, the offender asked to provide him with a car, thus, he was going to leave Georgia and head to Russia.
