Over 16,700 daily COVID-19 cases recorded in Russia

The average growth rate in new cases reached 0.43%.
The lowest growth rates were recorded over the past day in the Tuva Republic (0.06%), the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region, the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Magadan, Sakhalin and Kostroma Regions (0.2%).
Confirmed coronavirus cases in Moscow grew by 2,095 in the past twenty-four hours to 937,450.
The new coronavirus cases in Moscow grew by 0.22% in the past twenty-four hours. Moscow registered 1,545 new coronavirus cases on February 3, the latest data indicate.
Sixty-seven patients died of the novel coronavirus infection in Moscow in the past twenty-four hours, bringing fatalities in the Russian capital to 13,701 (1.46% of all the coronavirus cases) since the start of the pandemic.
A total of 5,324 patients recovered from the novel coronavirus in Moscow in the past twenty-four hours, taking total recoveries to 835,168. Currently, 88,581 people are infected with the novel coronavirus in Moscow.
Some 1,571 COVID-19 cases were confirmed in St. Petersburg, 831 in the Moscow Region, 471 in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, 371 in the Voronezh Region and 363 in the Rostov Region.
Currently, 452,800 people are undergoing treatment for the coronavirus in Russia, TASS reported.
