Paraguay inks contract for Russia's Sputnik V vaccine
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Government of Paraguay has signed an agreement with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) to purchase the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine, according to Minister of Public Health and Social Welfare Julio Mazzoleni.
Accoriding to the minister, the country is waiting for contracts that have already been signed in order to announce the volume and timing of deliveries, TASS reported.
In mid-January, the Ministry of Health of Paraguay approved the use of Sputnik V in the country. To date, 136,000 coronavirus cases have been identified in Paraguay, and 2,779 people have died.
