Georgian National Defense Council gets greater powers

The Georgian National Defense Council received greater powers in the case of an emergency, Trend reports. The corresponding document was approved by parliament.

The National Defense Council was previously a consultative body, but now it has the right to control all government bodies in the event of an emergency.
