Lavrov talked with Biden's special envoy for climate

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a telephone conversation with the US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, the Russian diplomatic service informs.

The minister welcomed the desire of the new US administration to return to the Paris climate agreement and assured Kerry that Moscow is ready for an honest and mutually respectful dialogue to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and ensure a universal climate regime.
