Georgian Dream assesses arrest of Saakashvili's party leader as exemplary

Head of the Georgian Dream party Irakli Kobakhidze said he assesses the arrest of the head of the United National Movement opposition party, MP Nika Melia as an exemplary special operation.

He noted that ‘modern bolsheviks like Melia, Bokeria, Saakashvili and others will not be able to harm the state.’ 

"Responding to radicals, enforcement of law and the protection of the constitutional order is the only way for the democratic development of the country and ending the polarisation in Georgian politics," Agenda.ge cited him as saying.

Kobakhidze stated that Melia and the part of the opposition are ‘anti-state forces.’
