North Caucasus 2.0: Growth Territory searches for projects for NCFD

The Russian Parliament held a presentation of the project "North Caucasus 2.0.: Growth Territory" within the framework of the 4th annual conference of the Russian Association of Young Businessmen (RAYB). The project is aimed at developing small- and medium-sized business, transferring business-solutions to other regions of the North Caucasus and establishing young business teams.


The head of the RAYB working group of the North Caucasus, Olga Kutsenko, said that the main criterion for selecting projects is their integration in infrastructure projects, realized by the Corporation for Development of the North Caucasus, Resorts of the North Caucasus. The authors of the best project will visit the Mashuk education camp, where young people will present their projects to potential investors and officials of the office of the plenipotentiary presidential envoy to the North Caucasian Federal District (NCFD).


The "North Caucasus 2.0.: Growth Territory" will view innovative, social and infrastructure projects, realization of which is rational in the NCFD. Projects require formulation of the main objective, goals, concept, financing source, participants, plan for realization, region for realization, examples of realization (if there are any) and integration into the strategy for development of the North Caucasus until 2025. The RAYB will be selecting the projects from the 1st to the 20th of June, 2011.


Olga Kutsenko said that she has already met colleagues from over 10 regions, from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, offering projects.


The project was organized by the RAYB. It is being realized in March-July, while projects may be proposed until June 1, 2011.
