Opera singer Yevgeny Nesterenko dies from coronavirus in Austria

The death of the famous Soviet and Russian opera singer, Yevgeny Nesterenko, was announced today by his family.

Recently, Nesterenko lived in Vienna, where he got infected with the coronavirus. The virus caused his death at the age of 84.

“With sorrow we inform you that our beloved father and grandfather, Professor Evgeny Evgenievich Nesterenko, suddenly passed away at the age of 84 after being hospitalized with a serious illness (COVID-19),” the Nesterenko family sent a relevant message to the Russian embassy in Austria.
