Georgia reports 365 new cases of coronavirus, 5 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 25,934 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 15,926 antigen tests and 10,008 PCR tests, InterPressNews reports.

As a result of the testing, 365 new cases of virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 280,301.

As of March 27, the daily positive rate is 1.41%, for the last 14 days - 1.65%, and for 7 days - 1.68%. In the last 24 hours, 415 people recovered from the virus, and the total number of recoveries increased to 272,219. 5 new deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 3,751 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.

Out of 365 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 183 cases were reported in Tbilisi, Adjara - 27, Imereti - 37, Kvemo Kartli - 8, Shida Kartli - 39, Guria - 21, Samegrelo - Zemo Svaneti - 30, Kakheti - 6, Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 5, Samtskhe-Javakheti - 3, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 6.
