Iranian army receives new missiles

The Iranian military has received a new ballistic missile - the Kiam-1 (Resurrection), ground to ground, RBC reports.


Characteristics of the new missile have not been revealed. However, there were reports about the improved anti-detection of the missile, Al Alam says.


The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps will operate the missiles.


Earlier publications said that the missile is comparable with the Shahab-2, in terms of size. It is 11.5 meters long with a diameter of 0.88 meters, starting mass of 6 tons and range of 500 km. The warhead may separate in flight. The missile uses liquid fuel with four engines, providing a long range of flight.
