Georgia reports 580 new cases of coronavirus, 6 deaths

According to stopcov.ge, as part of the intensive testing, 29,729 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 16,531 antigen tests and 13,198 PCR tests, InterPressNews reports. 

Testing revealed 580 new cases of the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 283,369. As of April 2, the daily positive rate is 1.95%, for the last 14 days - 1.81%, and for 7 days - 1.85%.

In the last 24 hours, 215 people recovered from the virus, and the total number of recoveries increased to 274,145. 6 new deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 3,804 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
