Assassination attempt on Pakistani ambassador to Iran

An unknown assailant attempted to assassinate the Pakistani ambassador
to Iran in Tehran, leaving the diplomat wounded and hospitalized, RIA
Novosti reports, citing France Press.

According to preliminary information, the attacker was a native of
Afghanistan and was arrested by police. There is no information about
the diplomat’s condition.
