Opposition in Libya is against NATO ground operation

The Libyan opposition is against a NATO ground operation in the country, a representative of Transitional National Council, Abdel Rahman Shalkam, told journalists today in Moscow, RIA Novosti reports.

"No. Never. We do not want a ground operation in Libya," he stressed.

In addition, Shalkam said that Russia had shown understanding on the question of the recognition of the opposition government in Benghazi.
