Corporations are offered involvement in projects of North Caucasian experts

Commenting on the ineffectiveness of the economic policy in the North Caucasus, many experts talk about ceasing financing of the territories and shifting to financing of projects. However, under the notion, a project can be understood to be either construction of a small plant or the global Development Strategy of the region. One of the most doubtful projects in the North Caucasus Federal District was one initiated by Alexander Khloponin - the program of internal labor migration from poorly-employed North Caucasus republics to other constituents of the Russian Federation.

The point is that major Russian corporations could employ residents of the North Caucasus, taking into account their national traditions and schools formed in industry of the region. For example, Ingush people are good at gold mining and Chechens – in the oil industry. Dagestani people are good builders and Ossetians are good at metallurgy and mining. The authorities of the NCFD suggest companies promote professional technical education in the North Caucasus and employ professionals on contracts.

However, some experts believe that such a practice will damage the industrial development ofthe region. The authorities of the NCFD make reasonable decisions on its development and prevent them from effective implementation simultaneously. First of all, social problems should be solved in the center and only then in each of the territories according to the center’s example.
