Militant killed in Ingushetia - 1

Police have killed a suspected militant in Ingushetia, RIA Novosti reports.

A vehicle was stopped during a special operation at Gamurziyevo village. Fire was opened at police.

Return fire resulted in the vehicle bursting into flames and exploding. Vakha Machukiyev, born in 1978, from Gamurziyevo village, was the driver.

No police officers were injured in the operation.
