Armenia confirms 881 new COVID-19 cases

Coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 881 in the past 24 hours to 211,399, the republic’s Health Ministry reported.

"In the past twenty-four hours, 881 new coronavirus cases were identified. Currently, 15,281 people are under treatment," the ministry said in a statement.

Twenty five more coronavirus patient died in hospitals in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of fatalities in the republic to 3,969 over the entire pandemic period, the statement says.

In total, 191,158 people have recovered in Armenia since the start of the pandemic.
