Georgian opposition to prevent Saakashvili participating in military parade

One of the leaders of the People’s Assembly, Nino Burdzhanadze, has urged her supporters to gather at 15:00 on Liberty Square in Tbilisi and prevent Mikhail Saakashvili from participating in the military parade on May 26, Trend reports.

According to Burdzhanadze, today at 12:00 the participants of the protests, which began on May 21st, will gather at Kostov Street and will then go to Liberty Square.

She stated that if people don’t come, she is going to agree with the people’s will. Turkmenistan hosts International Gas Congress

The second International Gas Congress opened today in Turkmenbashi
city (Turkmenistan) on the coast of the Caspian Sea, RIA Novosti
reports. Representatives of 160 international organizations and
companies from more than 30 countries are taking part in the Congress.

The aim of it is to attract foreign investment and high technology to
the gas sector of Turkmenistan for implementation of major projects on
exporting Turkmen gas to Europe and Asia.

Chevron, Exxon-Mobil, Baker Hughes, Honeywell, Shell, OMV, RWE, BP,
Gaffney, Cline & Associates, SOСAR, GAIL, BOTAS, Petronas Gulf Oil &
Gas, CNPC, Total and other companies will participate in the Congress
and share their views on prospects for cooperation with Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen side will be represented by the heads and representatives
of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan.

At the moment Turkmenistan exports natural gas to Russia, China and Iran.Good morning !!
